About Myotis Bats
A genus of similar-looking bat species, Myotis are world widespread, found from America to Australia including the coffee farms on the Rwandan Mountains.
There are 4 species in the UK, all are in decline. In fact, Britain’s most recent extinction was the Greater Mouse Eared Bat (Myotis myotis) in 1990.
Our Coffee Ethos
Over the past 3 years, we worked with local coffee plantations in Rwanda to source the perfect African Mountain coffee.
Over 80% of your coffee costs go directly to protecting mountain habitats for wildlife such as Mountain Gorillas and to local communities farming coffee.
Furthermore, 30 pence of each 250g bag we sell is donated to the Bat Conservation Trust, to help save Bats here in the UK.
